Health secretary latest! Human experimentation approved!

Work will set you free sign at concentration camp

SS commandant lookalike and health secretary Wes Streeting wants to start human experimentation on the unemployed!

It’s a win-win for Wes, either it’ll get people back to work – and as Wes and any good SS officer knows “Arbeit macht frei”, ‘Work will set you free’, or possible side effects will lead to a need for life-long medication, a double win for big pharma. And any win for big pharma is a win for Wes. Poor David Ricks, the CEO of Lilly, the world’s largest pharmaceutical company, is scraping by on only $26.6m (£20.5m) a year, that salary must come from somewhere. Certainly, it’s reasonable that David’s paid the lifetime earnings of 14 FY1 junior doctors, in one year. He is super special, as noted by… oh that’s right, nothing. Nothing at all. He’s not special by any known metric other than his salary.

Per the BBC report, expert in public health Professor Simon Capewell called the plans “unethical”. Good to know straight off the bat Streeting is ensuring ethics are a thing of the past in healthcare. Per the same report, obesity expert Dr Dolly van Tulleken said, besides the “serious ethical, financial, and efficacy considerations,” the plans were also unrealistic. So, a terrible plan for the patient but a great plan for big pharma. Expect much more of this from private healthcare sponsored Wes.
